ARML Local is an annual contest held on the first Saturday in March.  The contest format is similar to the national ARML competition, with  short answer, theme, individual, and relay rounds.  One significant difference is that teams are limited to six students, which provides the possibility of more animated competition among local teams.  Scoring is aggregated nationwide, which provides an opportunity to see how local students compare with others around the country.
